Calling all recipe writers

It's another WW gripe....sorry. I made a terrific frittata tonight from the recipe above. I got the recipe directly from the WW site. I'd like you to notice direction #2 - - combine eggs and next four ingredients. Please now refer to the ingredient list. Ok - - does that mean the four ingredients after the first two egg whites or after the four eggs?? I figured it meant the four after the four eggs. But then, in step 4, it wants you to sprinkle it with cheese. What cheese?!?!?! I already used the cheese! I also had issues with the cook time. But that could be my crappy stove's fault. Another post....

It tasted great and FYI you get a huge portion for only 6 points. Pretty tasty for all the dinking around.

What a joke

I LOVE the Weight Watcher's program. I've been doing it on and off for the last 3 years and at one point lost 30 pounds. It's terrific. Their food isn't that bad either. The ice cream bars and english muffins are just as god as regular ones.

My problem? The lemon cake. It's very tasty!! But - honestly - you get a cake the size of a snack sized candy bar. Yeah - those ones you get for Halloween?? What good is a lemon cake - that is so tasty - if you only get one bite?? I know, I know - that's the point of Weight Watchers. But seriously...one bite? Not fair.

I'd rather have three mini Hostess HoHo's (100-calorie pack) for the same 'points' as one bite of lemon cake.

Don't waste your cash.

A Lazy Day

We had the best Father's Day ever!! Pedro LOVED his gifts (a photo collage and a shave mirror for the shower), got to play golf, I made a killer meatloaf and we had a blast by the pool. Here are a few highlights:

It's my husband's first father's day. I hope he knows how much I appreciate him and everything he does. He's changed poopy diapers, wiped boogers, given baths and helped with 4 am feedings. Enjoy your day.

I've joined the revolution

So, this is pretty much a test of my new blog. Yes - me. I have a blog. I have no idea what I'll do with it exactly, but sometimes I tell stories about my life to people and they laugh. Maybe they're laughing at me - but now they can laugh at the blog. Maybe I should start a new saying - Talk to the Blog! No - sorry. That's just wrong.
